IN THIS ISSUE #19

December 14, 2007 by David Gordon

IN THIS ISSUE #19.

It’s the holiday season, and EAP celebrates with The Goddess Issue…

the Goddess looking through the wall

We’ve got some great, albeit eccentric (what else on EAP?) tributes to the Goddess… MIKE MADRID moons over the Blessed Virgin in THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY …SEAN WATKIN remembers what she’s done for him in QUEERPOOL 6:  THE GODDESS WAY . .. CAROLYN MYERS imagines a goddess monologue in THE GODDESS SUBJUGATES ENGLISH…and HARVEY LILLYWHITE sends POEMS TO THE GODDESS …

THREE MONOLOGUES FOR WOMEN by DAVID BUDBILL reveal the Goddess in unexpected ways…DAVID  HARRISON is uncomfortable when he notices how much like a girlfriend is  MY BOSS THE GODDESS … CLARINDA HARRISS tells the story of a goddess double in BONE TO BONE … and LINDA SANDOVAL analyzes what the Goddess has come to in  A DOLL HOUSE…

Meanwhile, BOB IRWIN wonders how well today’s goddesses will age in  BOB’S PHOTO GALLERY:  YESTERDAY’S J-LO … and music editor MAX VERNON interviews a musician who’s right up the Goddess’ alley in  INTERVIEW WITH STEPHANIE NILLES:  THE UNGODDESS …and there are LYRICS BY STEPHANIE NILLES too…

Finally, and perfect for your holiday screenplay reading needs, is the complete screenplay to the film THREE BUSINESSMEN by Tod Davies …THREE BUSINESSMEN suggests that if the three Wise Men headed for the Second Coming now, they’d be very, very confused…

In THE RED CAMP by Debra Diaz, it’s Mom's turn, and is that appropriate for the Goddess issue or what?

The Todblog keeps having fun in its own way.  JAM TODAY keeps cooking in its own way.  And special guest SAINT CHRISTOPHER JOINS ASK WENDY .  Naturally, she’s stunned by this, but, ever one to take advantage of any opportunity to join forces for social justice, asks him to bring along his friends next time, too.  We’ll see.

This month’s photograph is by Bob Irwin.

Next month:  DEAD ENDS/NEW STARTS issue appears 15 January.
