How the Hell!                 above and lau                             from above and laughing

||||||| no no no no none of that matter just the end result’s what matters after all okay, CLASS, Looks like it’s time for a lesson in some sort o’ logi=c y’ know ah ah know ah ah ah y’know don’tcha know? |||||||

Wow that’s sure some big Piggy

|||||||     okay here’s the lesson   |||||||

watching                           watching   |

||||||    and its just to be taught once |||||||

::::: there’s good purposes for this of course everything last longer than ‘tween 3 and 300 shots is something needs to stay forever SO :::::                    tchi      Crap!   ::::: this is why Top-m’ you can’s see around yourself yet enough to see that purpose of anything like you’re presently trying to :::::

|||||||  Let’s say there’s a book. Let’s say, a murder book—okay? Okay? |||||||

that you’re trying to comprehend   What?        ::::: you can’t know where these came from since as usual you’re standing solidly in your own way :::::

||||||| The book starts. There’s thousands of words to say Char one has been murdered (4 words) |||||||

What? said Top-mayor, whirling to face the Henchmaette straight on—why’d you just say that to me don’t we have enough to be totally confused about already?

|||||||  Then there’s thousands of words to say we looked at the evidence caught one Char two and there’s going to be a trial. (16 words) |||||||

Huh! I a sorry, but I haven’t said a word to you!

||||||| Then there’s thousands of words to say we put Char two on trial and the result was that they’re guilty and received life in prison (18 words). |||||||

Top-mayor opened their mouth, but, they held back – maen oo mahh mean, behold this sudentatuanne frangriollerry’d scene—there they are, facing off, in a place and time gone most totally slant, that—e’’en the drinks on the flat rock before you eitherwise flanking the nearot fta black mystery cube—the surface of the liquid (what liquid—what liquid—oh yah yah any liquid may do a-la no-name

||||||| So you see the question becomes looking t’ ‘his tha’ why on earth ‘o books like this need to be countless of thousands of words and pages long when the whole story can be told with complete accuracy in, in this case, 38 words.? |||||||

what liquid HA what liquid-icky la la HA HA well the Top-mayor found everything skipped forward a few centimeters the levels {I’m alone!} were flat but

||||||| Why huh, why? |||||||

were flat but how can that be, the grassy space ‘round then tipped slant and Top-mayer themself felt slant BUT the surface of the liquids stayed level dear God oh dear level dear Henchie What, chief? Something is wrong

||||||| Why, huh? We asked you! |||||||                      SWIM!

by Jim Meirose. “Isn’t this game great, great fun?” “Yes it’s fun!”         walking off the court each time, after another profitable game, they whacked their thighs with the flat of their hands as they strode off the court headed for the two matching water bottles on the bench they were to sit on and after […]

December 31, 2022 by Exangel

by Jim Meirose.   Mister Moon was told to go down the hall of the emergency room and wait in the waiting room—last door to the right. Would Lon be all right? Would Lon be—all right pleaded over and again, but, but, at last—he’d been told not to worry. Just to go wait. Entering the […]

That cult classic pirate/sci fi mash up GREENBEARD, by Richard James Bentley, is now a rollicking audiobook, available from Audible.com. Narrated and acted by Colby Elliott of Last Word Audio, you’ll be overwhelmed by the riches and hilarity within.

“Captain Sylvestre de Greybagges is your typical seventeenth-century Cambridge-educated lawyer turned Caribbean pirate, as comfortable debating the virtues of William Shakespeare, Isaac Newton, and compound interest as he is wielding a cutlass, needling archrival Henry Morgan, and parsing rum-soaked gossip for his next target. When a pepper monger’s loose tongue lets out a rumor about a fleet loaded with silver, the Captain sets sail only to find himself in a close encounter of a very different kind.

After escaping with his sanity barely intact and his beard transformed an alarming bright green, Greybagges rallies The Ark de Triomphe crew for a revenge-fueled, thrill-a-minute adventure to the ends of the earth and beyond.

This frolicsome tale of skullduggery, jiggery-pokery, and chicanery upon Ye High Seas is brimming with hilarious puns, masterful historical allusions, and nonstop literary hijinks. Including sly references to Thomas Pynchon, Treasure Island, 1940s cinema, and notable historical figures, this mélange of delights will captivate readers with its rollicking adventure, rich descriptions of food and fashion, and learned asides into scientific, philosophical, and colonial history.”

Start listening to the wonders of how Arcadia was born from the worst section of the worst neighborhood in the worst empire of all the worlds since the universe began.

Check out this video of “Beyond Utopia: The Importance of Fantasy,” Tod’s recent talk at the tenth World-Ecology Research Network Conference, June 2019, in San Francisco. She covers everything from Wind in the Willows to the work of Kim Stanley Robinson, with a look at The History of Arcadia along the way. As usual, she’s going on about how visionary fiction has an important place in the formation of a world we want and need to have.
